Can a company use Core for free?
Yes. Core has a $0 software license for individuals and companies, including commercial use. Company size does not change that. We won’t add artificial seat, document or owned-machine limits to the self-hosted core; the capacity of your hardware still matters.
What costs should we expect?
The Core software license is free. You supply your own hardware, electricity and hosting, and pay for any third-party services you choose. Company and Enterprise pricing and scope are still being worked out.
Who owns our work?
You retain your rights to your data and the artifacts you create. Model and other third-party license terms still apply. Export is part of the intended Core.
What would we pay for?
Planned commercial offerings add organizational administration, monitoring, managed evaluations and a support relationship. The useful self-managed workflow, including citations and review, is intended to remain in Core.
What is available today?
